What is a money Mentor? The term isn’t all that common around the world, but in our modern society, they are becoming more and more important to people around the world. Money mentors, basically, are people who are experienced in managing finances, including overcoming debt and saving, who can help teach you how to build a brighter and stronger future for you and your family.

Money mentors, in other words, are financial experts who teach you the best ways to deal with your money situations.

Money makes the world go ‘round

Have you ever heard anyone suggest that money is not important?  Well, I would submit that that person was terribly mistaken. Looking back on your life, do you even remember the moment when you first learned how to use money? I sure don’t. It’s almost as though it is programmed into our DNA and that we are just born with the basic understanding and knowledge of money. We have money in our hands and use it to buy the things we want or need.

That’s not such a bad thing, is it? When we have money, we get to spend it. The problems begin to develop when we are extended lines of credit, or buy a house with a mortgage or take a loan out for a car. Then suddenly we are spending money we don’t yet have. Then it becomes far more important to be able to manage our money and learn how to process what we make, create a budget that we can live with, and pay off the debts that we accumulate.

How to find a Mentor

If you are looking for a Money mentor, consider a professional Turnaround consultant to help guide you through some options that may be available to you.  Sure, for some, creating a budget and sticking to it is quite simple and the idea of money mentors may almost seem laughable. Unfortunately, for millions of people throughout the country and around the world, marketing from companies have become so intense and sophisticated that we believe we must have certain products now, that we need to spend the extra money we have on products that will ultimately make us feel better about ourselves.

That never happens, though, and we end up in a deeper hole, which requires more budgeting and the ability to manage the money we do make so that we don’t get caught up in the never-ending spiral that traditionally leads to only one place: bankruptcy.

Turnaround Consultants are money mentors and can help you see the light, so to speak. They will sit down with you and discuss your financial situation, whether it’s good, bad, or indifferent. They have the knowledge, skill, and training to be able to help you build a budget that works for you and your particular lifestyle.

Money mentors are like the personal teachers that you may have had in high school or college, who took the time to work with you and hone specific skills because they believed in you. With a good money mentor, you can overcome your financial woes and lead a life of fulfillment free of crippling debt and a future full of hope.
